Help

Everything you need to know about watching on this service. If your question isn't here, use the Contact link in the footer.

Getting started

Do I need an account?

To watch anything marked Free, no. For everything else you need to sign in, and depending on the title either a subscription or a one-off rental or purchase.

If you don't see a Join button anywhere, this service isn't taking new sign-ups at the moment — that's deliberate, not a fault. Existing accounts keep working normally.

Watching

The player didn't start

Browsers block video that starts on its own with sound. When that happens you'll see a large play button over the picture — tap it once and playback begins. Nothing is wrong.

Choosing quality

The player adapts to your connection automatically, which is right for almost everyone. If you'd rather pin a specific quality — to save data, or to force the best picture on a good line — use the quality control at the bottom right of the player. Auto shows what it has settled on, e.g. Auto · 720p.

On iPhone, iPad and Safari on Mac, Apple's own player handles quality and no menu appears. That's a platform limitation, not a missing feature.

Subtitles

Where a title has them, use the subtitles button in the player controls.

It remembers where I stopped

Yes. Leave part-way through and the title appears under Continue watching on the home page, resuming where you left off — on any device you're signed in on.

Watching a series

Back returns you to the series, not to the single episode. The header shows where you are (for example S01E03) and a Next episode button. When an episode ends, the next one starts after a ten-second countdown — Stay here cancels it, and so does scrubbing back into the episode.

"You're watching on too many screens"

Your plan allows a set number of simultaneous streams. Stop playback on another device and try again.

Paying

Subscriptions

Pick a plan on the Plans page. You can cancel any time — access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, then stops. You'll get an emailed receipt for every payment and a confirmation when you cancel.

Renting or buying a single title

Some titles are sold individually. Buy keeps it in My library permanently. Rent gives you a viewing window that starts when you press play — the remaining time is shown on the title.

Gifting

On any rentable or purchasable title, tick 🎁 Gift this title and enter the recipient's email. They receive a code to redeem on the Redeem page. You are charged, they get the access — and a gifted rental's clock starts when they redeem it, so nobody loses time waiting to open their email.

Codes and promotions

The Redeem page accepts gift codes, subscription codes and reseller codes — one box for all of them.

Payment failed

If a card is declined we email you and retry over the following days; access continues during that window. Update your card from your account page to fix it immediately.

Still stuck? Use Contact in the footer and include: the title's name, what you were doing, what happened, your browser and device, and the time. That's enough for the operator to find it in the logs without guessing.
